There are many areas during our prayer walk to serve, here are a few and what you would do in each area.
Set Up / Break Down - Help Us Set up tables, tents, stage and check in for each prayer walk. These volunteers get there early and/or stay later to help make sure everything is put up.
Security - This team oversees the safety of everyone attending the prayer walk. They assist in parking, crossing streets, and observing those in attendance to ensure the safety of all participants.
Check-In - There are several serve areas to assist in Check-In. You could be assigned to be a greeter, welcoming those who are coming in and making sure they check in. The t-shirt table hands out t-shirts and accepts donations. We also need folks to help hold signs during the walk and hand out connections cards after the walk.
Sound Team - These volunteers usually have special skills related to sound systems and equipment, they set up and monitor the sound during the prayer walk.
Photography / Videography - These volunteers will capture photos and videos for each prayer walk and upload them to our drive. We love to have 2 photographers for each walk, one for photo, one for video. More info would be given if interested and you feel this would be a good fit.
Service Lead - This person helps keep all of our speakers in line and keeps the flow of the service going. They work alongside the prayer walk coordinator and city director to make sure everything runs smoothly!
